Of all the articles I have read on the subject, NOBODY really explains how
they work under the covers. I believe that knowing how they work will bring
a whole new set of potential uses for them. That coupled with an easy to
use RPG service program.

I will let the group know what I come up with as I sometimes get "OFFLINE"
responses for stuff like this.

The ability to have a dynamically sized array of information that is
indexed and is faster to read/write to/from than DB2 tables (IBM's
words, not mine).
LOT's of possibilities for usage (think eliminating "work files").

VERY interesting. We will have to look into this for ourselves. Thanks!
