I had this very same error recently.  I had mistakenly compiled my
program into the default activation group.  When I recompiled my program
into a named activation group the error went away!  Thanks,

Good Afternoon,
        I am creating a file from query that is read into an RPGIV
program. 

In the RPG program I am using an Externally defined file as the file
definition and it has an EXTMBR value.

The query creates the file as a subset of the master file.  

When the read occurs I am getting an
"Undefined record type is found in file PRHSTD"  

I am stumped anybody have any ideas.
