Rob, I thonk those fields are used by some CM products to stamp the object with 
reference details.  We see this with TurnOver....

displayed in 
DSPOBJD OBJ(QUSLOBJ) OBJTYPE(*PGM) DETAIL(*SERVICE)
updateable on user objects?
Judging by the help, I suspect not:
"This field is blank for user-created objects."
