Hi Jose,

I'll be doing a session on the very topic at RPG World in May
(www.rpgworld.com). I'm also doing one on creating your "Encrypt Save File" CL
command

With the APIs, RC4 encryption is pretty easy to do, and AES encryption is only
slightly difficult.

As I think Rob mentioned, using the SQL functions may be a good choice for your
immediate situation.

Subject: Field level encryption and decryption APIs

Does anyone have experience writing rpg code that uses the Cryptographic
Services APIs (Qc3DecryptData, Qc3EncryptData) to achieve database
field level encryption/decryption?

Any sample code or tips will be greatly appreciated.

Jose
