As painful as it was, it was a decent start for some /36 programmers to start "designing" databases. There was, I think, the ability to use a reference file of sorts.
But, then, even a kid in high school can do SQL and DDS. It took a /real/ programmer to do IDDU. Definitely not for the weak hearted.
