Subject: "MCH3601-Pointer not set for location referenced" on return statement

I have a CRTPGM composed of a CLLE module and a RPGLE module. CLLE's
first. CALLPRC the RPGLE module. When the RPGLE module tries to return a
variable I am getting MCH3601 message.

MCH3601-Pointer not set for location referenced.
