In a Cl you can do the following command to get the system name:
RTVNETA SYSNAME(&SYSTEM)

Jim

Subject: System Name

Hi everyone
I have a program that needs to know what AS/400 it is running on to
determine some variables. How can I retrieve the system name into my program
or CL? Thanks
