I have a file that contains two fields and twelve records. Field 1 =
Month & Field 2 = Status. I have found that when I read a record and do
an update with no actual change to the data every thing is fine. But, if
the data in the status field is changed then the program will not move
off of the record it just updated. It will read month 4 over and over
again incrementing the status counter. Why is this? Why would it not
update the record and then read month 5?

     C Read MRFBSH1P

     C EndDo

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy
enough people to make it worth the effort.
