You can accomplish this by defining the table as being partitioned. I refer you to the IBM manuals online as it is well defined there on how to accomplish this. I really don't know much at all about DDM files, but they are like pointers to a file on another system I guess, but you treat them as a normal file. Can't SQL DDM files though. I also don't know if you can have multiple DDM files, each pointing to a different system. Something to look into though.
