No matter what indicators should be clearly labeled in the beginning of

the program. 

Why bother - when you can use a constant to name them - why would you ever
want to rely simply on documentation?  It makes no sense no matter how few
indicators you use.

*IN(OverCrLimit) will always be more obvious than *IN57 = *On - no matter
how well documented.
