The classic reference on the data stream itself would be:IBM 5250 Information Display System Function Reference Manual
SA21-9247-6(inside, you'll find references to such relics as the 5252, a 2-session terminal in which the 2 "sides" were literally that, facing opposite directions, with separate keyboards. Unfortunately, it predates the InfoWindow series.)
The best supplementary data stream reference I've found is:
5494 Remote Control Unit Functions Reference SC30-3533-04Other than that, just read the Application Display Programming book (formerly "Guide to Programming for Displays," or some such). And ask specific questions on the Midrange lists, of course.
