I wonder what happens if you put the Amt * -1 in parentheses?

    C Eval ExtPrice$ = %editc((Amt * -1): 'J': '$')

Amt is 9s,2
ExtPrice$ is 14a

Amt = 50

C Eval Amt *= -1

C Eval ExtPrice$ = %editc( Amt: 'J': '$' )
Results as $50.00-. Which is what I want to see.

C Eval ExtPrice$ = %editc(Amt * -1: 'J': '$')
Results as $50.00. (no minus sign)

Why is this? What am I missing? Something about the intermediate
result of the expression?

Thanks,
Kurt Anderson
