Hi Marco
the one thought that comes to mind is to search the string looking for
QUOTE

D Quote c Const('''')

Then substring the string out and re-format it to something like this

c eval Sqlstatement = Stringpart01 + Quote +
c Stringpart02 + Quote +
Stringpart03

I'm having a problem with SQLRPGLE that I don't how to fix.

We currently use embedded SQL:

C/exec sql
C+ PREPARE S1 FROM :W_STRING
C/end-exec
C/exec sql
C+ DECLARE CURS1 CURSOR FOR S1
C/end-exec
C/exec sql
C+ OPEN CURS1
C/end-exec

and then FETCH ...

The problem is that sometimes users put apostrophe "'" inside the search
arguments and the prepare statement fails (i.e Regent's).

Must be easy but I don't how to handle it.

Thanks in advance

Marco
