A) *INTER report: I think you should not have any problems by using probably the combination (or exclusion of, however you want to do it) QCMDEXC, SNDPGMMSG, and DLYJOB command in order to delay the msg for 10 seconds. B) *JOBQ report: I do not know how to send a message (when a job is done and a report is in its output queue) and wait for 10 seconds and then to disappear. I do not know if it is lack of understanding of your request but these messages are coming in a *BREAK mode, interrupting the user's activity. They are simply authorized to press the ENTER key and continue their processing, which I think is that you want: notify that the report is ready, correct me if I am wrong...
