RE: LDAP connections to the proper server, and unknown error??

Hi Alan,

Just another thought that popped up while looking over the options for 
ldapsearch.  Does the -v option (for verbose output) give any further 
clues about why the LDAP server is unreachable?

Just opened up the qshell and ran the following command: 

ldapsearch -h repsrv.com -s base -b "dc=repsrv,dc=com" "objectclass=*"

This returned the message "ldap_simple_bind: Can't contact LDAP server."
