Could you please post before and after examples of what you are looking to accomplish. For example, I THINK what you are looking for is as follows:- BEFORE = 'This_is_just_one_example_of_what_I_think_you_want' Because you "want to extract values b/w second last '_' and third last '_'" AND "reverse of string" (I'm not really too sure what you want here, just guessing AFTER = 'tnaw uoy_knith_I tahw fo elpmaxe eno tsuj si sihT' Now this may be totally NOT what you are looking for, so please give examples.
