Don, I suggest that you recompile all the programs. You can determine all the programs that access that record format name by issuing this command... note submit the command to batch... it will take a while. DSPPGMREF PGM(*ALL/*ALL) OUTPUT(*OUTFILE) OUTFILE(QTEMP/REFLIST) Then run a query over that file QTEMP/REFLIST. There is a field that is defined as RECORD FORMAT REFERENCED. Compare that field to the record format name of your file. This will pick up any program that is referencing the record format name of that file along even if it's a logical.
