5722-QU1 Query/400 doesn't do jack.
5722-ST1 DB2 Query Manager and SQL Development Kit does.

If you do not have 5722-ST1 you could look up SQL-CLI or sql call level 
interface.  Perhaps there's a way through that to do the equivalent of
       exec sql VALUES IDENTITY_VAL_LOCAL() INTO  :IVAR;
