      /free
       name='test';
       salary=1;
       dept=5;
       write employeer;

      /end-free


This may be helpful as well.
we are running v5r3 and we do not have the Query/400 licensed program
installed so as far as I know we are not capable of creating SQLRPGLE
programs.
