I have to agree with Charles. Physically force yourself to use it over a month, and you'll love it. Join the WDSC list, throw some questions out, screw it up, bang it around, you'll get the hang of it. Just using the outline view to refresh and then being able to bring up field names by typing the first few characters and pressing CTRL + SPACE to see what matches saves me an hour each day. The BIF's syntax, blah blah blah, it's just so useful it's uncanny. Makes me lazy though. I'd rather not code in green screen anymore... too much trouble lol. Wes, This should really be on the WDSCi list but.... If you're truly doing modern ILE RPG IV coding then using SEU instead of CODE/400 or WDSCi is simply wrong. The productivity enhancements of code-assist and the outline view are by themselves tremendous. Yes it takes a bigger PC, but I ran WDSCi at home quite happily on an old slot-A Athlon 850 with less than 1GB RAM (I think 512 or 768). Force yourself to use WDSCi for a couple of weeks. You won't go back.
