Thank you, everyone! I've learned more about input secondary files now than I
ever wanted to know! And I got down on my knees and thanked God that I don't
ever have to program in RPG II anymore!

Subject: Re: Input Secondary
Multi-file Processing with No Match Fields When no match fields are used
in multi-file processing, records are selected from one file at a time. When
the records from one file are all processed, the records from the next file are
selected. The files are selected in this order:
Primary file, if specified
Secondary files in the order in which they are described on the file
description specifications.

an old clunker that uses an Inpit Secondary file. I have not seen one of these
in about 17 years. Can someone who might have used one more recently give me a
Readers Digest overview of how/why this is used? I coukd look it up of course,
but if someone knows off the top of their head....
TIA!
