I am looking to write a customer RPG program to retrieve EDI information
from various mailboxes.

 

Can anyone fill me in on what will be required for this in regards to
hardware (modems, TCP/IP connection) and software (program to retrieve and
send info to mailboxes).

 

I already know what to do with the data (edi forms such as 810) when I get
it, but just not too sure on how to get it.
