Everyone who responded: Thanks for the help. I'll be reading up on commitment and journalizing this afternoon to understand it more. Part of the reason I wanted to do this in RPG was because I didn't know how to. I could already do it in STRSQL. Another reason is because I was required to write a program to do this (using standard I/O, but what's the saying I've heard on here...
