>Please be careful when using ERRMSG and/or ERRMSGID. >We were having a major program act REALLY weird. When errors were incurred, >and an error message was being displayed, (ERRMSG or ERRMSGID) some data >that we know should have changed from the previous display was NOT being >displayed. snip Alan this is working as expected. by setting an indicator on for ERRMSG or ERRMSGID, the screen is not refreshed, only the field attributes are sent such as Reverse Image. Connie - is your message a general one not associated to a field on the display ? , if so then use SFLMSGID within the Control record (before any fields) If it is on a field on the Control record then you can use ERRMSG/ID & this should work fine.
