Re: no. of rec in file through RPG

Let the program logic handle it. If there is 1 or more records, the %eof of
the read will happen, that is also true if there was 0 (zero) records.

Is there anyway I can find out no. of records in RPGLE before I start
reading that file in the program.
The requirment is first I want to see the number of records in the file ,
if there are records I want to read else end the program.

(No CLP and no SQL and no DSPFD)
