Why did the compile fail?  Our compile interface is pretty good when it
comes to reconstructing the compile command necessary to build an object.

Binder source works quite well with Implementer.  We use extensively

I can confirm that Implementer works quite well in the scenario you
described.

At this point, I would suggest you contact our support group again ...
it sounds like there might be a setup problem that needs to be resolved.
