RE: Working with IFS Files

Scott,
Believe me I need as much help as I can get :)
I never knew about _Ropen(), _Rreadn(), or _Rclose(), so I've never used
them, but it looks like those are exactly the API's I would want to use
instead of using the IFS API to read the iSeries members. My original
post probably was a poor one to use as a reference to working with IFS
files. In hindsight I should have asked for information on any API'S
that do what the previously listed ones do, but in a round about way I
got the help I needed. 
Everyone else thanks for the input. It's nice to know there are plenty
of other viable options available.
