small doubt regarding decimal edit

Dear all,

           When I run my display file,I see that the Decimal point
character  as ", " (COMMA) and not 

           A "." (DOT) as I expected for a numeric field with EDITCODE =
1.

           I tried to change DECEDIT keyword in the H-SPEC of the
program that runs this display file.

           But this did not help.

           Is this parameter set at Job level/session level or
something? If yes how can I change it so that

           the display file screen shows DOT for a decimal and not
COMMA.
