If you have CODE400, it has a tool that creates a PSDS for you. Another thing that can be handy is a dummy physical file that exists solely to define the PSDS fields so you can have an externally defined data structure mapped to it. I don't use CODE much any more, but I copied the PSDS and INFDS stuff out of CODE into my skeleton program. The annoying thing about CODE's and the manual's PSDS is that both use the from to subfield definitions. I think Rob's suggestion of a parm defined likeds is probably the smallest amount of work. > -----Original Message----- > From: rpg400-l-bounces+jfritz=sharperimage.com@xxxxxxxxxxxx > [mailto:rpg400-l-bounces+jfritz=sharperimage.com@xxxxxxxxxxxx] > On Behalf Of Rick.Chevalier@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > Sent: Thursday, April 28, 2005 2:58 PM > To: rpg400-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: RE: PSDS as parm > > > The actual positions are shown in the RPG reference manual I > believe.
