Siva,

I used EXFMT exclusively until I started using data structures declared with
the 'likerec(format: *in/*out-put)' method.
This simplifies checking for partial field 'dup' key use, and now I only use
the Read/Write method.

Also, I don't know if this is a bug or something I was doing incorrectly,
but when I first replaced a single Exfmt statement with a 2 line
(Write--Format--DS) (Read--Format--DS) the *InK? indicators stopped working.
(If I removed the data structure from the 'read' statement, the indicators
worked as expected) This actually ended up being a good thing as it caused
me to become familiar with using AID bytes. It may not be important in your
situation but is something you should be aware of.
