If you had a product like Showcase you could insert rows which in effect
push the existing rows down.  That would be pulling the data from the 400
instead of updating the spreadsheet from RPG.  I imagine that you could
accomplish the same with just ODBC.

I have a project where I need to grab data from the as400 via an RPG
program
and dump it into an existing excel spreadsheet.  There are cells on the
spreadsheet that perfrom calculations.  I need to "skip" over these cells
so
as not to overwrite the formulas.  Is there a way to accomplish this?
