Steve, If you are doing this in SQLRPGLE, then no problem: C/exec sql C+ update MYFILE set FIELD1= :variable1 C+ where FIELD2=:variable2 C+ or FIELD3=:variable3 C/end-exec If you are doing this via a source member executed RUNSQLSTM, you probably just need to round out your statement with a semi-colon _________________________ Daniel L.
