John: You may need to add a keyword to your prototype. If you don't already have the "extproc" keyword on your prototype, add it as follows: extproc(*CL:'CLIENT_GETCLNAME') Specify the name of the procedure in all caps as RPG translates procedure names to upper case unless expressly told to be mixed in the "extproc" keyword. If you already have the "extproc" on your prototype, just add the parms in parentheses. The "extproc" keyword tells the compiler that your RPG procedure may be called by a CLLE module and the compiler should take care of passing the appropriate data types back to the CLLE module. Some data types are handled differently by the different program languages (a 1A field is most notorious). Hope this helps, --Bruce Guetzkow
