Right, I got that working just about an hour ago. Thanks for helping out with this. It was the *DTS that was unknown to me. In Debug the field looked blank, yet when I submitted it to batch and posted a message to the joblog with the info, it had "crap" in it. That "crap" was the *DTS formatted date. Thanks again. If anyone wants to see the resulting RTVSBMJOBA CL command to go: www.rpgiv.com/downloads and click the QRPGLESRC and QCMDSRC links. There is also an example CL that calls the command in the QCLSRC file. -Bob -----Original Message----- From: rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Carsten Flensburg Sent: Tuesday, January 25, 2005 12:23 PM To: RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries Subject: Re: QUSRJOBI OBJD0300 That makes sense - the field is defined as a system timestamp, so in the event that you get something back your description would match precisely. - You can use the QWCCVTDT input format *DTS to convert it to something human readable.
