Oops, thanks.  I wonder if the limit was 3000 sometime in the past.  I
don't know where I got the idea that it was 3000, but I suspect I'm one
of the causes of the "3000" error because I used QCMDEXC as an example
in a very early article about prototypes.

I just looked at the V4R3 documentation and it says the limit is 6000.

The V3R2 documentation doesn't specify a limit, but it uses 3000 in the
example.
