Great job! It looks nearly perfect.
You just missed the optional, 3rd parameter for double-byte support (yes,
nobody uses it) here's the prototype with the extra parm, again it is an
OPTIONAL parameter.
     D Qcmdexc         PR                  EXTPGM('QCMDEXC')
     D  Cmd                        3000A   Const Options(*VARSIZE)
     D  CmdLen                       15P 5 Const
     D  Cmddbcs                       3A   Const OPTIONS(*NOPASS)

But yours will work fine without the 3rd parameter too.

Writing a new program where I'm using QCMDEXC and I prototyped the call :) 
 First time I've used this, and I have to say.  Very KOOL.  No more coding
