Being that we are talking RPG XML parsers, has anyone checked out Scott Klements parser wrapper that is based on eXpat? (http://expat.sourceforge.net/) I have been meaning to move my wrappers for the XML4PR400 IBM distro over to his but haven't had the time. I am guessing Larry's are similar to mine. I am thinking that if we all put our efforts into adding functionality on top of Scott's that we could come up with some pretty nice code that is free to all and completely open source. I have included my source below for interfacing with XML4PR400. Note that it is not "cleaned up" and I have some things hard coded for my encoding. Scott, I noticed that there isn't any mention of HTTPAPI's XML capabilities on your site, has this been released from beta? I know it has been on your mailing list as a topic for a couple months it seems. . .
