If all you want to do is transfer the data from a user space to the IFS,
you can also use the COPY (CPY) command:

        CPY OBJ('/qsys.lib/YOURLIB.lib/YOURUSRSPC.usrspc')
            TOOBJ('/YOURFOLDER1/YOURFOLDER2/USRSPCTEXTFILE.txt')
            TOCCSID(*PCASCII)
            DTAFMT(*TEXT)
