Hans/Babara: Every now and then, I need to access a file on both local and remote systems in a RPG program. In the F spec I normal put a made up file name to refer the remote DDM file. See example below: FCUSMAST IF E K DISK FCUSMASTDDMIF E K DISK usropn Everything is fine, until I need to compile or recompile it due to file changes. Compiler errors it out because CUSTMASTDDM doesn't really exist. It would be nice if we can have a keyword that specify the actual file to use when compiling it. thanks
