I was going to ask if some of my hspecs would die in that process, but they
shouldn't because doesn't a CRTBNDRPG run the two anyways?  It just uses
the module in QTEMP or something like that.

Rob,

No stretch at all, at least not for me.  I always use a two step
compile.  First of all, I never have to question which command I'm using
(or in PDM, which option).  I know it sounds trivial, but it is
consistent and I always know that I should have a *MODULE object.
Secondly, by using a two step compile, I can compile the *MODULE for a
running program in a production library without implementing it right
away.  Of the two, it's the consistency that I like best.  I always
create a *MODULE, and then I decide what I need to do with it.
