Hi Tony, Scott already gave you a good answer, but an alternative solution occurred to me that might work in your situation. Since you can't get the display file to tell you what order the items were selected in, why not get the user to do it -- by putting in "1", "2", "3", etc.? If those are already used for other things, maybe code a function key to switch to "print mode", where they would lose their normal meanings. It's kind of hokey and low-tech, I know, and I have no idea what your situation is, but I figured it's worth suggesting. . . .
