What about CHECK(ER) on the subfile selector field. I'm not sure I've
ever used it in a subfile, but if it worked then each time the user put
a '1' (or whatever) in the field the subfile would post back to the RPG.
Then the RPG could record the timestamp and redisplay the screen. The
user would see a subfile, but you'd get the effect of hitting enter each
time.
