Network Services Library.  I had to use it with RPC under Linux.  I
think it comes with glibc-2.2.4-33 Here's a Redhat RPM link
http://at.rpmfind.net/opsys/linux/RPM/redhat.com/dist/linux/updates/7.
2/en/os/i386/glibc-2.2.4-33.i386.html)  I know Scott uses one of the
BSD's, but I can't remember which.
