do you happen to know if there is a limit on the number of declared files in
RPG IV module/program ? 

RPGIII has the limit 50 files according to the documentation. I failed to
look it up in IBM docs.


Bob: Can you tell me where in the RPG manuals that limit is documented? As far as I know, the RPG compiler doesn't impose a limit, and as far as its concerned, you can have as many files as you want. But I'm sure that some system limit would eventually be exceeded if you coded too many files. I suspect that, at least, you'd probably run out of static storage well before 32K files.
