Hi,

That's HTML, not RTF... You could teach your RPG to parse those, or even
use the XML parser... you still have to figure out the output, though.

When I've done this sort of thing, I've written PostScript out instead of
AFPDS... Then, I can easily transform that PostScript to PDF for
e-mailing, or I can send it to the printer. (Naturally, I use a
PostScript printer)

My problem with AFPDS is that I either had to spend big bucks on an AFP
printer/AFP interface, then I would also have to buy PSF/400 and maybe
AFPU? or go through Host Print Transform which is really slow.

The iSeries doesn't understand PostScript, which means I lose a lot of the
advantages of the iSeries spooler... but, it'll send it to the printer
for me, and the printer prints it quickly and it produces gorgeous
output... And a $400 HP LaserJet will do PostScript at around 20
pages/minute... hard to beat that.
