Steve McConnell's book, Code Complete, while not related to RPG, provides an excellent starting point for understanding good programming practices in general, which can be applied easily to RPG and ILE coding. I believe that he has a new version out, which I have, unfortunately, not yet been able to get my hands on. from: "Buck Calabro" <buck.calabro@xxxxxxxxxxxx> subject: Re: ILE code efficiency > HI I would like to know, what might constitute, > bad coding practice in RPG ILE. Is there something more specific you're looking to find out? --buck _______________________________________________ This is the RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries (RPG400-L) mailing list To post a message email: RPG400-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/rpg400-l or email: RPG400-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/rpg400-l.
