In my experience it's not even a help when testing.  On two occasions I
spent a couple of hours debugging problems that I thought were caused by
my code but were actually caused by DFTACTGRP(*ELIGIBLE).  (Would have
been "one" occasion, but I'm a slow learner.)  Now I never use it -
signing off and back on is quick enough.
