Maybe something to do with the difference between how memory is handled with and without debug? I've had strange things like this happen. Found it's been a set of parameters coming in from a command that overlay in funny ways that I can sort of distinguish when displaying variables. I've used "watch" and saw a var change with another "for no reason",but this is also how I found the command-parameter situation. My workaround has been when I change the order of D-specs, or in the case of a command-processing-program, I've taken to moving those variables to program-described variables. Come to think about it, hasn't happened in a long time. - Alan ----- Original Message ----- From: "Steve Landess" <sjl_123@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: "RPG400 List" <rpg400-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, December 15, 2003 4:11 PM Subject: Debugging error with online RPG400 program | OS/400 V5R1 with TL03175... | | I'm encountering the following error when I try to run an online program. | | This error occurs whether I debug it as an OPM program with STRISDB OR if I | convert it to RPGIV and debug it with STRDBG. | | CPF5063 Data sent to device QPADEV002F not valid.
