OVRDBF problem

To the list,
I looked in the archives and could not find my answer.  I have done this type 
of program a million times and cannot figure out what I am doing wrong. Here is 
the scenario:

1)    CLP is a selection program which submits itself to the queue. 
2)    OVRDBF to file prior to OPNQRYF for selection.
3)    Print program is RPGLE and prints totally different customer range than 
selected.

Note:  added CPYFRMQRYF and viewed file - it was accurate.  Even tried running 
RPGLE pgm against this file and still not the correct data.

I know it's Monday and all - but this lapse of knowledge (?) is bugging the 
you-kno-what out of me!!!
