If they can PTF to back releases then it doesn't matter what release schedule they follow - you can use the compiler level you want and target any release that the run-time supports." This would be great, and you guys know more than I do about the feasability of this. But I'd feel a little hypocrital asking for it. After all, as an application developer I don't put new features in older releases. We'd go broke trying to do so. But I'd love to see IBM do it. Ron Hawkins
